The Beijing Engineering Technology R&D Center for 3D Printing Applications in Orthopedics was established in May 2015 with the approval of the Beijing Science and Technology Commission. The Beijing Engineering Technology R&D Center for 3D Printing Application in Orthopedics is a provincial-level engineering and technology research center. It is also an important part of Beijing's science and technology innovation system and the source of orthopedic 3D printing technology in China.
With the unique 3D ACT (Accurate Constructive Technology) technology, we have successfully developed a series of 3D-printed orthopedic implants covering all skeletal parts, including joints, the spine, and trauma. We have achieved large-scale manufacturing of standardized product systems, flexible manufacturing of patient-matched product systems, and personalized manufacturing of customized products to meet the treatment needs of different patients.
We are the first company in China to create surgeon-engineer interaction technology to conduct image-to-implant model reconstruction, personalized surgical guide plate design, personalized prosthesis design, preoperative planning (osteotomy plan, prosthesis selection, prosthesis implantation), and other work for orthopedic clinical treatment needs. These efforts aim to shorten the learning curve for surgeons, simplify the surgical procedures involved, improve surgical precision, and reduce intra-operative patient bleeding.
